Leavesden Studios
Leavesden Studios is a ‘bucket list’ destination for Harry Potter fans. We have been lucky to visit five times. The pictures here highlight all our visits. The Christmas visit was the best. They really do a great job of decorating for the season. These pictures only hint at what there is to been seen. You can easily stay all day and not take it all in. Taking pictures is a must, but don’t let it get in the way of really looking at everything. The studio has so much to display that they are constantly rotating things in and out. Plus they are slowly expanding. As a consequence, there are new things every year. A couple of tips: Make ticket reservations for the earliest opening time — you don’t want to lose any available time. Hire an ‘interactor’ — a personal guide for your party. It cost about 100 British pounds, but it is well worth it. You have to phone to set it up; it isn’t mentioned on the web site. Your ‘interactor’ can show you things regular ticket holders won’t see and will stay with you all day.
